An infill development on a former filling station site within a west Edinburgh conservation area, the project entailed the construction of eight studio flats above a speculative commercial space with a shared roof terrace behind connecting into the adjacent Green Path network.
Completed in 2015, the project takes its cues from the neighbouring terraced houses with their distinctive crow-stepped gables, replicating their rhythm to animate its roofline and articulate the transition in scale to the taller developments in Roseburn to the west.
