Curriehill Road, Edinburgh

This project involved the reconfiguration of ground floor and the construction of a small 10m2 extension which was added to a previous extension built in the early 1990's.

The original extension performed as an ancillary room to the house and was underused. By combining the original extension with the new build, a new kitchen and lounge space was created. The newly formed and enlarged room includes a new kitchen, breakfast bar and bi-folding doors that lead directly onto an external timber decked area.

The re-configured ground floor has turned the previously unused space into the hub for family living and created a vastly more spacious property.
