A major dealership relocation for the client group’s Mercedes-Benz franchise, the project involved the construction of a large new facility incorporating the brand’s new corporate identity standards, situated in the expanding Kinnaird South commercial zone on Edinburgh’s south-east fringe.
MMH were appointed as architect and lead consultant from inception to completion under a traditional form of contract. We also undertook the Principal Designer role under CDM 2015.
The development comprises a striking new double-height 13 car showroom with twin handover bays, 12 bay workshop with MOT bay, high-quality customer and staff facilities plus detached wet valet building and external parking and display areas.
Highly prominent from the nearby A1 entering Edinburgh from the south, the new dealership has become a distinctive landmark.
